Our custom rigging service carries a comprehensive range of spares and accessories for all masts and spars along with a large selection of ropes and rigging accessories. We can renew or repair any part of your mast, standing and running rigging. This can be carried out at our workshop or on site by our fully mobile team of riggers.

We have tooling which allows us to provide on site swaging of wire from 25mm diameter to 16mm diameter wire. We hand splice nearly every kind of rope, including all the latest hi-tech ropes.

We have very accurate records of Rig Settings and Rigging Lengths for a range of configurations. We offer advice in setting up the whole boat, not just the rig, and a speedy replacement service. We work closely with all major suppliers, so we can offer the fastest mast in any given class.

We race dinghies and know how to get the best out of a mast/sail combination, whether it be for an Optimist or a Mirror, through all the older conventional classes up to the latest high performance Asymmetric classes. At Matthews we carry large stocks of booms, poles, spares and accessories for immediate dispatch.
